Bracelet fit assistant
Record your wrist measurement, apply an explicit allowance from the bracelet maker and understand the limits of a planning estimate before ordering.
Plan your bracelet fit
Measure first, then compare with the instructions for the exact bracelet. This tool adds an allowance you choose; it does not assign a manufacturer's size.
Measure where it will sit, without squeezing.
2 cm is an example, not a rule for every bracelet. Replace it with the allowance specified for your design. If its chart uses wrist size directly, follow that chart instead.
16 cm wrist + 2 cm allowance = 18 cm
This is a trial length to compare with the maker's chart, not a purchase-size recommendation. Charms, clasp construction and the way a brand measures length can change the fit.
All calculations stay on this page. Nothing is submitted or saved.
Use this assistant to organise a wrist measurement and an allowance supplied by the maker of your chosen bracelet. The result is an arithmetic planning value, not a guaranteed bracelet size.
Before you use it
Measure at the intended wearing position with a flexible tape. Keep it level and comfortable rather than pulling it into the skin. Repeat the measurement and use the same units throughout.
Find the exact bracelet’s size instructions. Some charts already convert a wrist measurement into a product size; if so, follow that chart rather than adding an allowance again. A generic online example is not a substitute for those instructions.
What the calculation means
For a suitable flexible bracelet, the assistant adds wrist measurement + the extra allowance you enter. If, as an example, a wrist measures 16 cm and the maker instructs you to add 2 cm for that particular design, the arithmetic total is 18 cm. The 2 cm in this example is not a universal recommendation.
Your close, comfortable or loose preference changes the points to check. It does not silently change the calculation or override the maker’s instructions. Compare any result with the actual available sizes and the intended charm arrangement.
When it will not recommend a number
A rigid closed bangle needs a method that accounts for passing over the hand. A hinged or open bangle may use its own internal dimensions. If the design or sizing method is unknown, identify it first. The assistant provides different guidance for these situations instead of pretending the same addition works for all bracelets.
The tool cannot establish a charm’s compatibility, predict a bracelet’s stretch or confirm the fit of a product it has not measured. Use the compatibility guide and the manufacturer’s current specifications for those questions.
Measure without a tape
Download the printable A4 wrist measuring sheet. Print at Actual size or 100%, then verify its 100 mm calibration line with a reliable ruler. Do not use a scaled print. The strip covers 0–24 cm; use a longer tape for a larger measurement.
The complete manual method is in the jewellery size guide, so the guidance remains usable without JavaScript.
Your measurements stay on this page
The assistant works in your browser. It does not submit the entered values, save them to an account or retain them in local storage. Write down any result you want to keep, together with the maker’s instructions and the model you checked.
