Privacy and cookies

How this reference website handles browsing and tool inputs, including its lack of analytics, accounts and submission forms, and the role of normal hosting logs.

This notice describes the Special Something reference website and the features provided in this edition, prepared on 2 November 2026.

No accounts, advertising profiles or enquiries

The application provides no registration, login, checkout, newsletter subscription, enquiry form or payment processing. It does not add advertising pixels, third-party analytics or behavioural profiling.

The website itself does not set cookies or save tool selections in local storage. There is no cookie preference banner because this edition does not install optional cookies or similar tracking features.

The sizing and gift tools

Measurements and choices entered into the bracelet assistant and gift finder are processed on the page in your browser. The tools do not send those values to the application, create an account record or store them for later visits.

Following a suggested guide loads that page in the normal way. The tool does not add your measurement or selections to its link.

Normal web requests and hosting logs

Opening a webpage or downloading a resource necessarily sends a request to the hosting infrastructure. A web server or hosting provider may record technical information such as an IP address, time, requested address, browser information and response status for operation and security.

A search made through the site’s search address, if used, is part of its requested URL and may therefore appear in hosting logs. Do not place personal, payment or sensitive information in a URL or search query.

This publication does not state a fixed hosting-log retention period because that depends on the deployed hosting arrangement. The application does not contain a separate visitor database, and it does not access records from the former retailer.

External sources

Source links take you to other websites. Those organisations have their own privacy practices, cookies and services. Fonts, styles and the site’s own illustrations are served locally; reading an article does not require loading a third-party tracking embed.

Former-shop information

Old accounts, purchase records, delivery records and retailer privacy services are not operated by this publication. An inherited link to a retired service does not mean its data was transferred here. See contact and former-shop enquiries.

Current contact arrangements

The publication currently offers no public email address or contact-submission channel. The contact page describes this directly. This notice will need a substantive update if the website later adds data collection or changes its actual features.
